The magic of a good painting is its ability to distill the personality and the inherent beauty of a subject in a way that even photographs cannot.  And, painting beloved pets carries the responsibility of seeing through someone else’s eyes.

When I paint your best friend, my goal is always to facilitate your connection to the image that mimics the burst of affection you experience when looking into the eyes of the real thing.
